/the approach
The Tsukuyomi deck is printed on premium stock and with Cambric finish. These cards are equipped with custom colors and modified court cards. The court cards are modified with allusions to the Shinto religion as well as some of the most popular anime characters.
This deck also features some cards that are specifically designed for magic. It takes inspiration from Japanese art and is a reference to the famous painting “The Great Wave off Kanagawa”, as well as the blood moon which is based on the god Tsukuyomi in the Shinto religion.
This deck was created with anime lovers in mind. The court cards are packed with references and Easter eggs waiting to be discovered. The court cards are designed like different anime characters, you may recognize the legendary Sannin from Naruto, Sasuke’s brother, some Pokemon references, and more!
On the ad cards and jokers, we have references to Japanese culture such as the lucky cat and the Japanese flag!
This deck is for collectors, magicians, and cardists alike. For collectors, it has intricacies that make it hard to pass up. For magicians, we chose not to stray too far from the default court cards with our custom design and for cardists we have included the wave of Kanagawa on the back design to incorporate a lovely spinning motion. These cards were made to be played with.
